what i did this weekend...

so where was angie while dan was at his beloved boardgame convention, you ask. well, i headed down south with a friend from my mission, errin lacey. we spent a couple of days in moab. two days were not long enough but they'll do until i can get back again (hopefully this summer). errin had never been to southern utah ever! there were so many things i wanted to show her but our time was limited. we hiked to delicate arch. the weather was perfect: nice and cool, a bit overcast. then the snow came! crazy! but really beautiful. the next day we rented mountain bikes! i'd never been. the bike was awesome. full suspension. the trail we rode included 3 miles over slick rock. that was absolutely the best part. kinda scary but oh, so thrilling. i'd do it again. southern utah is one of my favorite places in the whole wide world!

p.s. jake, i hope this post wasn't too painful. :)

Well, I spent this last weekend in Idaho Falls at the ICON boardgame convention. Kent and Timmy drove up early Friday morning and picked me up, we got there around noon and jumped right into it. It was two days long and the convention center was rented all through the night so we stayed there the entire time (i slept for 1 hour underneath a table). I played some awesome games and got to meet alot of cool gamers. I have so many games I want to buy now! I even got to trade away some games I never play for some cool games that others had brought. I participated in a few tournaments and even did pretty well in a couple. I played in the championship game for El Grande (I'd never played it before the convention). Anyways, I really had a ball and am so excited for the Salt Lake convention in July! Woo Hoo!
This is a link to a list of the cool games Iplayed:
