Angie and I have discovered that while some seasons on the palouse are prettier than others, there really isn't an ugly time of year here. The poorly stitched-together panorama above was taken just this afternoon on a Sunday hike that Mona and I took at Idler's Rest on Moscow Mountain. Moscow can be seen in the distance about 3 quarters from the left.

i need to trty that whole panoramic thing out. it won't be very hard here. all you need to do is take one picture of an open dirty field with endless sky and then copy that picture over and over. I can smile about it now. i like it here
